79 Case 2290 powershift

Case 2290 I have R,1,2,3 on power shift side all seems to shift fine on the manual side I can slide into 2nd fairly easy and 1,3,4 have to be forced if even they go in . The quadrants are fairly sloppy but seems should still find a gear .

Also we unhooked the cable on the transmission side and could not shift in all gears with a pair of channel locks
