8 CARBURETOR CHOKE FLY ASSEMBLY

[FRANK - PA]

I removed the choke shaft and fly assembly. Parts
came several days later and I forgot which way the
fly assembly mounts on the shaft. Does the flap on
the fly assembly mount on the upside toward the
carburetor or toward the incoming air supply?
Memory ain"t what it once was!

tHE FLAP NEEDS TO INSTALLED SO THAT IT CAN BE SUCKED OPEN when you are using the coke. Looking in the intake of carb with carb positioned in operating position, the flapper is on the inside at the top.
