8 vent Bezel for 4430

My 4430 has the 4 vent bezel. The only replacement I can find is 8 vent. Will this substitute without a lot of modification?

The parts catalog also shows a "label" that fits over the control knobs. Is this necessary? The pictures I have been able to look at
on the 8 vents show indicators for the various switches.

Neighbors ac vent on his 4430 broke and the only one he could get was the 8 vent version. It fit perfectly and according to him actually directs more air at him so he likes it better. He bought his through JD and it didn't come with the label on it.
