I am no mechanic so need lots of help! Working on an 800 with loader. The sleeve which the bar to which the front wheels are attached wore out and the front seal went out and I had to get the "tub" this all sits in machined so i could screw the new sleeve in. With all this done and replaced the long "stabilizer" rods on each side had to be forced up into the brackets which holds the knob end of these rods. This put a bind on the sleeve i replaced and i am wondering what to do. Anyone able to understand my non mechanic talk enough to help?
Loaders are very hard on the front axle assembly and front axle support used in vintage Ford tractors.
Most likely the front axle support ("tub") has been damaged and/or not repaired to OEM specs.
Used replacement axle supports are available in salvage yards and repair plates are available from the aftermarket.

Here's a diagram of the front axle assembly so you can ID the parts you are talking about. I think Dean is correct, there is something amiss with the axle support. I would remove the front axle and take a close look at the axle support, with the loader they will bend. The good news is they can be easily straightened.
Take a look at the radius rods as they are probably bent which would also explain the difficulty in installing them. They should not have an arch in them, they should be straight. (If we're talking about the same thing) They too can be straightened. By forcing the radius rods into place probably put a bind on the axle. If you leave it like this the rate of wear and damgae will increase.
Check the repair work too, it needs to be properly aligned.
Did you put a bushing in the center axle along with a new pin?
Post back with what you find.

center axle should pivot on the pin. the rear hole is usually the one that wears out. this hole is usually threaded and the pin screws in.
did the repair sleeve narrow down the space for the axle to ""float"" on the pin. the axle should be able to move forwards or backwards on the pin. the two stabilizers should hold the axle in one place on the pin, but due to clearances the center axle again, floats a bit meaning it can slide forwards a bit and rearwards a bit base on how tight the two stabilizers are.
now..as long as your axle is held by the two stabilizers as two forwards and rearward movement ..... and .... the center axle is free to pivot or turn on the pin as the wheels roll over bumps and through holes.. your pretty good shape.
ie the pin carries the weight and the two stabilizers hold it in the right place on the pin.
