801-b Drawbar Roller

All,

Working on the rear-end of the '59 801-b and I have question about this roller unit (not sure of the actual name). As you can see it's flat-spotted quite bad. Can a guy:

1. buy a new replacement part # from Case?
2. re-purpose some other part to take it's place?
3. rebuild it by welding it up and grinding it round again ?

Any help appreciated

I doubt new ones are available and if they were the cost could be prohibitive. Welding up and grinding might be the most economical or if you know some one with a metal
lathe they could turn one out quite easily. Rod.

I have fixed at least a dozen of them,, takes me maybe 15 min to do a couple bucks worth of wire and a few cents of a grinding wheel is not much I see zero need to put them on a lay for turning down easy to grind them true or it is for me anyway, did not know John had them I may look into a couple for the shelf,, all of the ones I have done are still nice and round
