806 amp light

Yesterday's Tractor Forums
Probably an alternator problem. Maybe a wiring problem. I had an 856 do that once, and the insulation had rubbed through against metal somewhere and was intermittently shorting or overloading the alternator.
 
Your charging system is not charging.

Early 806's had generators. Late 806's had alternators. Both had external regulators. Need to know which you have before giving troubleshooting advice.
