806 Diesel

Found an 806 diesel, decent tires, loose motor. Owner claims it was went thru bout 5 years ago. its been sitting for 3 years.
Dead batts, he says it has an electrical problem. tried to pull it but tires rolled, but engine wouldn't spin over. Clutch pedal was pretty tight against the operator platform.
Will it tow start??? Seemed like it was not grabing at all. Tried t/a back and forth. I think the price is right at 1200.00 Its about 300 miles from the house. Any comments. Photos attached.

We put it in gear and rocked it back and forth and I could see the fan and alt moving. We then hooked on to it with his little import tractor and pulled it 50', tires rolled, I tried high and low in all 4 gears and also reverse. Would not roll engine over or even slide tires. I'm pretty versed up to 560, but am I missing something?? Taking batts back up to try and start it to load it. Radiator full of coolant, oil looks some what used but clean and evidence of moisture.

Can't pull start an 806 with T/A. I'd probably buy it.

it has a T/A, so like arnold said it will not pull start.
it is a 12volt system,it has 2 6volt battery's hooked in series to make 12 volts.

does he have the fenders for it?
i would grab it for that price .

The TA is hydraulically operated, no engine, no hydraulics, not TA, no pull to start. Jim
