806 timing

Rosa Master pump. When pump marks line up the 18 degree is over 2” away. Dot to dot inside. Is it hard to adjust shaft?

Your pump drive gear is the old RD pump drive. Loosen the three bolts will allow more adjustment in the slotted gear holes. If I recall the 806 with the Stanadyne/Roosa pump is NOT timed at 18 degrees, more like 6 degrees BTDC, but check the service book to make sure. The later engines did not use that three bolt hub/drive gear.
