820 Mannheim

Does any one have or know of an 820 Mannheim with 7 speeds forward and 1 reverse speed. The later models had 8 forward and 4 reverse speeds but my 1968 is 7 and 1. Some think they all were 8 and 4. Thanks. Fred

My Grandad had a 69 model with 7 forward but I don't remember how many reverse gears it had. It got burned up in a barn fire in Oct. 1970 when I was 3 years old. It's one of my first memories....watching that barn burn. Turned out to be arson by some hoodlums down the road. He got a new one. It was a 1970 model 820 and it had 8 forward and 4 reverse. It is still on the farm today with under 3000 hours. I will say the 1 reverse does not sound right. Should be at least 3 reverse???????

I have had mine since about 1982 and it still has the shift pattern decal that was on it then. It definitely has only 1 reverse. It has been a good tractor. Fred
