820 Temperature Sensor??? 830 maybe????

Last year I bought an 820 2 cylinder that had been converted to Electric Start. The temperature sensor was just laying in the engine compartment and I couldn't find a place for it. I assume that the sensor originally threaded into the pony motor.

Anyway, I don't want to go another year with the antifreeze smell hot engine warning, and was wondeing if anybody could tell me or show me where I might be able to tap and install one. Where were the 830 electric start sensors located??

had to walk down to the barn to look,screws into the right side of the block behind the fuel filters on my electric start 830. bill
