Why would the hydraulic spools stick in the raise or lower positions. When the levers are moved sometimes you have to pull haed or hit the lever to get it back in neutral position

First try and back off the setting of the unlatching valve setting , On the back of the valve cartridge there SHOLD be a round push in dust plug , Use a small screw driver and pop it out as they just sorta snap in , then take a med sized screw driver with a blade length of about six to eight inches and go straight in and feel for the screw driver slot . Then turn counter clock wise about a 1/4 turn and see if this helps . If it is getting better but still hanging a bit give it a little more . Now if you have hyd oil leaking out the hole then you have other problems and the unlatching valve will need to be replaced . This can be a DIY job BUT i would recommend at least a I T manual to help guide you along .
