830 3 point lift lag time

Might be simple but here goes.. My 830 ck 3 point has a quirk where it will delay several seconds before it lifts. It never fails to lift. It lifts quickly once it starts to raise. No different whether it has a heavy load or no attachment at all. Hot or cold doesnt matter. The cylinder has new seals in it. New fluid. Its been that way since ive had it and replaced the rockshaft housing for a broken 3pt cylinder. The control valve was resealed and checked for stuck parts etc before i remounted it. Used it all summer with only this one oddity. Just thought id ask the board and see if anybody with better familiarity of this valve has an idea.

My 970 does that about every 3 years. Very frustrating with the snow blower. It is a simple 15 minute fix. The valve is designed to have a 2 speed lift. When you first move the lever to lift position it fills a cavity in the valve before it shifts a part of the valve moving it to high lift speed. There is crap in the small hole so it does not get the oil in there fast enough. On the 970 I work on the valve from under the right side of the cab, but on the 830 you might have to lift the center part of the platform. Pull the cover off the side of the valve and remove the rear most spool. In the end of the spool is a screw. Remove it and you will find a screw in needle valve under that. Remove and clean it all out. If I remember right the needle valve is replaced snug to the bottom and back up 1 3/4 turn. Replace the lock screw and put it all back together. Someone will set me straight if I got this wrong. DO NOT MESS WITH THE FRONT SPOOL!!!

It could be just that. With all the work done it wouldnt have been hard to get a bit of debris stuck in it once the flow started regardless of cleaning the valves prior.
