I have an 830 that the 3 point wont go down on. im wondering if there is a dump valve or something that could be stuck as the tractor sat for a while. any advise would be appreciated. Thanks Jared

I had this happen to one of my 930's. It was rust in the 3pt cylinder from setting in the raised position for a long period.

I used to take the backhoe and push the 3pt arms down. later I had the back cover off and was able to reach into the area and polish it with scotch Brite and WD40.

had that problem with mine. shut tractor off and pushed down on it and it went down. Put posthole digger on it and used it. checked the oil level at the back dipstick. Oil was white and over full, need to figure what all needs to be drained

Its draft o matic, it will go down about 4 inches and stop, we tried pushing down on it with the skidloader this summer and it didn't seem to move any further. I appreciate the responses. I thought I read somewhere that there is a valve that can stick, but didn't think that made sense with it moving a little?
