Good Morning, I was going to change the tips on my 830 to a more usable ISO/Pioneer couplers so I could use it to bale and few other things. But when I went to change them I found some weird thread design that is part of the old case coupler. Is there a fitting that will get me back to 1/2 inch pipe thread without making all new hoses. Thanks for the help. Jim

yes ,,. there are JIC pipe threads and common pipe threads when dealing with hydraulic lines ,,. I do not know why ??? everyone IS nOT THE SAME ,, , I SUPPOSE IT IS LEON CLAUSENS FAULT ..

The easiest thing to do is get 2 adapters to plug the modern Pioneer's into your CASE Couplers. Keep them in your tractors toolbox.

you could do like I did ,, I bought one set of each , and changed out the same side on 2 tractors , the 1070 , and the 730,, then painted the hose and tip on the lift side ,,.nearly everything I have is pioneer ,. except for the 4020 and one of the DCs that has a jd hydro block . found that in the bottom of a box at a auction . I have a pair of adapters for them .the paint helps to make sure Up always goes UP ..LOL and down is down ,,.

Everything I have has pioneer or ISO tips except that tractor. I have extra pioneer couplers and didn't want to mess with adaptors. I have never seen case adaptors anyway. Just thought there had to be an easier way . JJim

Personally I cannot even think of removing CASE Couplers on a Tractor that left Racine with them. I keep the adapters in a plastic bag in the tool box.
