While working on our 830 LP I broke one of the spark plugs off what has worked to remove what is left of the spark plug

SOAK PLUG AND MAKE SURE PISTON IS DOWN. I have used a big easy out, drive in tight, hit a few times and hope for the best It has work for me

I will tell you what WORKS, but it is up to you to determine if you can do these SAFELY on your LP powered tractor. Shut off fuel, do this outside, in open air so there"s no buildup of vapor from any little leak(s).

Blow some compressed air into the cylinder to blow out any vapors that could ignite, blowing carbon shrapnel at you. Wear eye and face protection, just in case!

If you are comfortable with all that, at your own risk, heat the remains of the plug red hot with a oxy-accet torch, and allow to cool to ambient.

Repeat, allow to cool to ambient, and apply some "loosen juice". The remains will be loose in the head and can easily be unscrewed.

I had this happen on my 930LP last year. I tried PB Blaster and a very heavy easy-out, with no luck.

I also ran the tractor until it got hot and tried the PB Blaster and heavy easy-out again with no luck.

I tried welding a nut onto the plug with little success. I could get the nut to hold but the plug would just break off below the weld

In the end it removed the head drilled the plug out as far as I could without risk of damage then I ground some more by hand with a drimmel tool and a carbide cutter.

I finished removing the plug with a diamond point chisel.

In the end I didn't damage the head. I tried to chase the threads with a NAPA thread chasing tool and ended up taking it a machine shop that specializes in heads to get the threads cleaned up and the valves ground.

I know removing the head is expensive and a pain but in the end its cheaper than trying to find and buy a new head.

have engine HOT, sharpen a long 1/2 inch bolt to fit inside the plug, stick weld with a thin rod, let cool some, keep tension on the bolt with a wrench and tap on base of plug with a long punch. I have had this work twice on the neighbors 830, he was using presto lite plugs.

Heated the broken parsley cooled sprayed with CRC knock'r loose used a four sided large easy out and whrench it came out hard after piece was out cleaned threads W/spark plug thread cleaner installed new plugs now to order new coil and key switch
