Put new injector pump on. It seems to be pumping diesel into injector line but will not crank. It runs with starter fluid. What could be the issue. ?

Which 830? JD used 830 for two different models. The Waterloo 2 cylinder and the newer Mannheim 3 cylinder. Best you tell which one.

Crank commonly refers to the starter turning the engine over, that would be a starter or electrical issue. Firing is combustion occurring in a cylinder. Running is combustion regularly occurring so that the engine is operating without the starter turning it. So, I would describe this as; your starter cranks the engine, and it fired on starting fluid but does not run.

Did you follow the entire bleeding procedure in the Operator's manual?

Some history might help. Was the tractor running before you replaced the injection pump? Why did you replace the injection pump?

You said it seems to be pumping fuel, how are you determining this?
