830 pony motor

Hello, just wondering if anyone has any info , pictures, or advice as to which manual to order to rebuild the pony motor for my 830 deisel. i tried you-tube but doesent seem to be much there for overhaul.

The service manual for 720/730 diesels has a complete section on the pony motor rebuilds. The engine is the same for your 830 pony motor, only the transmission is different. Critical points in a rebuild is to measure the connecting rods for being out of round at the crank end, rebuild the water pump, new crankshaft seals, new rings, check for bent push rods and redo the cylinder heads.
