Tried starting the 830 today. The pony would barely start and would not stay running. Thought I had flooded the engine so I started to pull plugs and clean. Got to the third plug and it flew out under pressure. The cylinder was full of gas. It appears that the auto shutoff is crap and the float is stuck. Am I on the right path? How difficult is it to rebuild the pony carb or should I try some Seafoam carb cleaner to see if it will fix the float. Just took delivery of the tractor a few months ago. So much for buying a good running tractor.
