830 Power Steering Problem

I rebuilt the power steering pump on my buddys 830 and now the pump and suck line are hot to the touch. I put new seals, bushing, and bearing in the pump. I have the power steering manual, SM 2050 and it doesn't say anything about my problem. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Have you checked the pump pressure? Maybe the relief valve is stuck, or set pressure to high. Rodney

When you put the bushings in, if you pushed them in too far, you can cover the lube holes. No lube= lots a heat.
You didn't say; does the steering work?

The steering does work so I think I can rule out an air lock. I'm going to take it back apart today and see whats going on?
