841 differential center housing

I'm working on an early 841 tractor. There is a slight crack someone appears to have welded on the differential casting. It has NDA 4024B cast into it. Would the center differential casting from a 860 be the same? Or what models would I be looking for?

The 860 is from the 800 series but good chance it would be the same. Your 841 is from the 801 series

No. Your LH brake cross shaft goes through the differential housing on the 801 and goes through the transmission housing on the 800 series. If you use the 800 housing you will not have a way to operate the LH brake.
