850 John Deere

I am looking for a block for an 850 John deere tractor. 3 cyl.

To start with, that's a Mannheim, Germany, maybe Getafe, Spain, made tractor with a engine made at
Saran, France. There are several differences between the Saran engines and the Dubuque, Iowa, made
engines, but maybe you could put a Dubuque engine it in. Don't know what complications you would face.

The "850" I am familiar with is Yanmar-built.

Is there another version?

You're correct JD 850 was built by Yanmar with a Yanmar engine
