850 still not running

Earlier i had posted that the 850 would not run. I finally have determined that I have very weak spark coming for the distributor. It will not jump 1/16 of an inch. I have been chasing this for about 3 weeks. It has a new coil, cap, button, wire, sparkles, points, and condesor. This is a 12v tractor. I double check points gap at.025. I have a fire from the coil wire that will jump 3/8 inch, it is a white blue arch.

Engine spins over great, proper fuel drain from carb will fill a pint in under 2 minutes.

Where do I go from her?

New cap and rotor do you have the rotor clip in place so the rotor is a tight fit?? If you do not then good chance the rotor is not where it needs to be when it should line up in the cap or you have the never right China TSC parts and one or both are bad from the get go

TSC parts many times do not fit as they should and are poorly made. As for part numbers for Napa sorry I do not have a Napa with in 50 miles of me so I get stuff at O'Reilly's

TSC is probably tisco parts. not super quality.. but if you are getting spark at coil but not from distribuitor, then points and condensor are good.

lets figure out where you are loosing spar past the coil secondary wire.

could be damaged cap, rotor, etc.

do you hav ethe rotor clip as asked.?

here are other ignition part numbers.. but just save these. your tisco points are working if it is making spark at the coil secondary. ( now.. rotor and cap may be another thing! )
