I have a oil leak on my 856 between the oil pump and the block. This is where the oil pump bolts to the block. I have replaced the gasket two times and the leak is still there. I am sure I must be doing something wrong. Is there a required gasket thickness? Could the two gears be bottoming out on each other and holding the pump off? Also have excessive oil coming out the tach cable connection. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks LHud
