I have a 85 Dodge Ram I am trying to remove the four fire wall electronic connectors, to clean the contacts, There is a wire spring clip on the top, and bottom of the connectors holding them in. Anyone ever experience removing the four fire wall connectors with this type of spring wire clip holding device. I thought this may be a yearly procedure for older Dodge pickups, with all the salt on the roads in some areas Stan

Flip them out of the way and pull the plug out.

Some dodges had a screw in the middle of the plug connector.
