I saw a 861 yesterday the man wants 4200.oo perfect metal, power steering, never been painted unbelievable condition. Serial number- 125989 what year is it? All gages work.

It is a lot of money, but if the tires are good, and he doesnt have to stick anything into it, it might be worth it. Its a great tractor, and I would think twice about selling one that I have for that money. I have an NAA that I have that much money in. You can always find a cheap one, but that is what you wind up with, a money sink.

I hear ya.. if it has new tires, good paint.. and runs perfect with goos steering / ps and a good clutch... it will give you lots of work for that 4200$ ( might go 4000?$ )..

I for sure have put more in to a 1500$ tractor making it come out to 4000$.. I agree.

hi carl where are you located at if you don't mind me asking I can give you a little history on that tractor if you like if that's the correct serial # thanks tim

This tractor is perfect and it has never been touched, you can tell that it has been kept in a barn or garage since it was new. I am afraid I would have to get a divorce if I bought it. I have a 661 and a 841. The 661 is restored an I am working on he 841 but it sure is tempting.

top of the line early Ford....with a top of the line price.
While more than I would usually pay, being that model I'd consider it.
untouched, and needing nothing?......I'd be tempted.
The tires would get a very careful look. Usually barn kept
'originals' have very old tires. Perfect tread, but cracking and
the rubber hard as a brick.
Tires don't pass, I'd pass at that price.
