861 hydraulic valve

Hey guys I am thinking about replacing the diverted valve on my tractor with a single spool valve. I have seen new aftermarket ones and used Ford valves going for about the same price, $250-350. Any advantage for the Ford valve?

ford valve will be older.. and you can say you have vintage equipemnt.???

new valve.. like the tisco repops will have newer seals.. etc.

I have many different ages and brands of hyds.

all work about the same...

Where can you buy a new, complete, bolt-on, remote hydraulic valve package for a vintage Ford tractor for $250?

I saw one that was just the valve, no hoses or hose support and needed o rings, it was an original ford for $275 on Craig's list a couple of weeks ago.

I agree that used single spool remote valves can sometimes be found for $250 but I have seen no such new valves for decades.
