870 brakes?

I am looking at an 870 case coming up for auction. The owner says if you bleed the brakes they work, but if the tractor sits for a week it loses fluid and the brakes fail. This is on a 1975 diesel with a powershift. What do you think it would take to fix this correctly?

There are cylinders and rubber hoses for this tractor. If you would like to see go to Case web site it shows the parts you will need.

Sounds like the suction seal on the hydraulic pump is bad allowing air into the system. I assume it has power brakes.

A common problem is for the sump pressure check valve to let the pressure leak down. The check valve is in the power brake valve.
