88 into 880

Looking to update a super 88 into a 880.i have a few questions.are the power boosters all identical in the percentage of speed drop or are certain yrs less drop.id like to change the radiator shroud and grill on the 88 to look like a 880,will the hood need changed too or does the 880 nose piece match UK p with the 88 hood.will the 880 nose piece work on the 88 tub.this isnt a show restoration,just a puller

Or just put an 880 engine into the 88?

you need the 880 tub, sheet metal, input shaft and more.

A local puller I see occasionally put 880 sheet metal on his Super 88. If you knew what to look for you would know it wasn't right but was definitely passable. Nose and hood.

What did you do to lighten the tub? I'm needing to lighten an 1800a up.
