880 front end

I JUST BOUGHT A '59 MODEL WITH A WIDE FRONT. IT IS IN VERY BAD SHAPE AND DOESN'T MATCH THE PICTURE IN THE BOOK. COULD IT BE AN AFTERMARKET OR DID OLIVER MAKE A WIDE FRONT. I AM THINKING MAYBE I SHOULD PUT IT TO A TRICYCLE FRONT. ANY THOUGHTS BY THE MECHANICS IN THE GROUP?

I don't know if Swartz ever made a wide front for those or not. Does it have power steering? Most any Oliver tricycle front will fit it. The gear box would be built right in to the pedestal of one without power steering. A simple bolt up.

can you post a picture? and also im curious who the seller was that sent a false photo. Id like for all of us honest oliver/white guys to keep a network going of all the crooks out there. Ive had friends buy stuff from photos before and what they bought did not even match the photo. it happened to me before and I was extremely unhappy. Great talking with all of you on here.

The tractor has an eaton add-on power steering unit, so I need a regular tricycle front end. I also need the steering sector box complete. The picture I referred to was in the oliver book.I think I'll go with the tricycle front. It will take a little while to get this one back in shape. Thanks
