880 gas top engine oiling

Anybody know where the rocker arm shaft gets its oil on an 880 gas engine. I"m working on a friends tractor, theres no oil to the rockers, a small 1/8" steel line is connected to the rockers, but the other end is hanging loose, the head been changed?

It comes up through the right rear head bolt unless it's different that any Oliver engine I've ever worked on. There should be a 90 degree elbow on that bolt.

Aha, correct for these Ollies, but you have obviously not worked on 80s or 90s?

Nope. The 354 Perkins in the 1850 is different too. Most any Oliver/Waukesha I've ever done surgery on was that way though.

Just add the 500 and 600 models (David Brown). Then, I daresay there are the Fiat derived models as well... and the detroits. The list is becoming almost endless!!:)
