881 getting closer to finished

Got the fenders and loader frames back on yesterday. Worked on getting the red tail light and rear work light functioning( I think that's the first time the tail light has been on since 1960). Putting her on the dyno tomorrow for a bit and give the bands a final adjustment. Next week the loader goes back on! Hopefully soon she will be getting a rest-o-ride seat as well( I can't wait as I have hated the seat my Dad had replaced the original one with. He hated it too.)!

Just have to watch a intermittent small leak on the trans filter gasket. I might have to tighten it a bit more when warm.

Hey Brian, I too just finished doing a total restoration on a 1962 Ford 2000 Industrial. I haven't
got around to doing the loader as I'm facing some "Major" back surgery soon (Next few weeks) So
I'm thinking of selling the tractor and giving the buyer the loader and a "Gannon" roll over box
and let the buyer finish it as I wont be able to do anything for at least 6 months.... Jim in New
Mexico...

This one isn't even a restoration, just some long overdue maintenance. Hope everything goes well with your back surgery.

I'm suppose to have 1-5 lumbars fused but I'm not doing it till absolutely necessary. Actually that part of my back bothers the least. The upper part of my back has muscle spasms almost constantly. When they get really bad, I can hardly move.
