881 Piston type pump leaking

I have a gas 881 sos with what I believe is the later production piston type pump that has a leak between p/n 34 and 32 on page 133 of the manual. Part #32 is a gasket with what looks to be holes aligned with other components. Has anyone encountered a leak in this location and what was the remedy?

Which exact manual are you referring to? Can you say which part it is in the parts diagram at the link below:

Not uncommom , its # 12 in pic. They are thin in 6 places and the gskt sold today seems cheesy to the old ones.

The pump cover is #34 in my IT shop manual for an sos and the gasket is#7 in your link but like shaun said #12 in your link is also a gasket. I'm seeing springs and such that could get discombobulated taking apart so would like some guidance and also found gaskets in parts on this site.
