8N 1950 Front mount

Lots of oil getting by the front seal. Is it best to replace with a new rope seal or go with the one piece? Is there more work with either of
them?
Have the head off, doing 12 V Conversion at the moment. May as well fix the problem as I have the tractor semi disassembled.

I've had good luck with rope seals,but would imagine that the one piece would be easier to work with if not used to dealing with rope.

I wonder if the oil slinger washer is still in place just behind the seal?
