8n 3 point problems

The only way arms go up is to hold draft control lever down. When they reach the top and the draft control lever raises about 1/4 of a inch and arms go
back down but if you hold the lever down the arms will start to rise again. where should I start to look linkage in the top cover?

Sounds like the cam follower pin is worn. A common problem. Need to remove the top cover and inspect and replace.
