I recently purchased a 8n with a loader and the old boy I bought it from had cut the sides out for some reason and I was curious if they made a quick attach bracket that could convert it to a skid steer attachment so I don’t have to buy more attachment for moving manure and small round bales?

Probably to lighten the load. I am not aware of any mass produced "quick-tach" for an N type loader. They are a 70 year old implement. You mentioned you want to haul small round bales. IMHO The round bale would have to really small for the 8N to handle it, lift & balance. You would be better off using a bale fork on the 3 point. Steering will be a lot easier. If memory serves me correctly, the 3 point is rated at 800 lbs.

Most likely nothing out there is available for your 8n.A 70 year old tractor with marginal abilities is unlikely there would be enough brackets sold to make it worthwhile for a MFGer to be interested. However you could have a 'bracket' custom made,or fitted. As was said,an N ford is unlikely to be able to hanble(let alone safely) a round bale. A 3 point fork would be your best and safest approach.Maybe you should consider moveing up to a larger or more modern tractor. That said,I have an M Farmall with a loader(F-11 Farmhand),it will handle the largest round with ease.Fairly inexpencive outfit.Any similar(age size, brand) outfit would do the job. And it never hurts to have an extra tractor.Just some food for thought.

Agree with the others, nothing ready made on the market and you aren't going to move a real round bale with the loader on an 8N. Use a bale spear off the 3pt and even then be prepared to either use pretty small bales or to be disappointed a lot.

With a loader on an N series tractor, you must have fluid in rear, and a substancial counter weight on rear. Otherwise it is a 'hog on ice'.The front axle isn't made for the riggors of a loader. I have seen many with bent/sprung ends, plus a couple actually broken in half. That plus the 'short' steering will be almost impossible to turn the steering wheel.

Before had larger tractors, we moved many round bales with 8N , on the 3-point and even there, you often had to run in reverse to keep front wheels on the ground enough for any steering, so..............front loader for this purpose on 8N would be a big NO, from me.
