FRANK - PA

New User
After 12 good years the carburetor float valve would not shut off. Replaced the valve, seat and float. Now the new valve sticks in the closed position. Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it?

Rubber tipped needle or brass needle??? Of rubber tipped did it come with a spring clip that you did not use?? Most of them I get are the newer rubber tipped one and have a spring clip to pull the needle down so as to stop the sticking problem

Grind the tip of a lead pencil are a wood dowel down to fit inside the seat and lap the seat in... This will debur/polish and clean the seat hole...

I have left thoes clips off,,, seen a zillon missing and never seen a issue running them with out a clip...
