8n control plunger spring

Is there and easy way to remove the draft control yoke and the draft control plunger spring without damage anything in the top cover. Is there a adjustment for when you reinstall it. Is the spring suppose to be lose or tight when hooked up. My spring is really lose you can turn it around with your hand. Thanks

Yea, if you have a torch. Then it comes off very easy.

Other than that, no.

Tight enough that you can't turn it by hand & no more.

All that being said.......unless you're planning on plowing in draft mode, don't worry about it.
