You have done a great job on this really nice you are as picky as I am when you do things its done right. However I only do that kind of a job on the ones I am going to sell. The ones I use dont, so is it for sale? The only ?s I have are do you have liquid in the tires? Is the bucket to big or is it the one that came with it? The hood sheild I would fill with Lab Metal or replace. These are just my thoughts Excellent Job and Happy Tractoring

Tires are filled with beet juice. I did try pounding dents out of grill guard but its nearly 1/4" thick steel.Tractor is a worker, she's our primary snow removal equipment. I had to put loader back on to grade yard for standing water. Bucket is a dearborn 19-53 and came with loader.
The headlights are my brothers 1975 chevy lov truck with a 283 engine. We have a 350 w/blower to put in her.

Beautiful job, but missing one picture I'm most interested in seeing. That is a full side shot. I'm just wondering how far in front of the front wheels that bucket is. Can't really tell in any of your pics. What is the width of the bucket?

But, as I said, beautiful job. Looks like you put in a lot of work on it.

Bucket is 4 ft 6 ins wide. I still need to weld a patch across the inside bottom. We moved a lot of dirt with this bucket.

It has been about 2 years on my restoration. In that time I found out that some replacement parts are not as good as others. Some of the new pre-painted parts are the wrong shade of gray.Result, I have some new unused parts.
A lot of thanks to all who gave advise.

I have a Dearborn 19-71 loader I am thinking about putting on my 8N. Did you have to make any modifications to the loader to get it to mount on yours. My understanding is the 19-71 is originally for the NAA so it's a little longer and taller.
Any insight is greatly appreciated and thank you.

I have a 19-71 loader on my 8N but the grill guard doesn't look like the one you have but then again is has a 500lbs cement block in front of the guard to help keep the front wheels on the ground while moving it. It has a Scout backhoe on the back so it needs the extra weight up front

The 19-70 was 8N and 19-71 was NAA. I think the only difference was the front hangerand pump mounting kit. Not sure the 19-71 partz will fit an 8N.
