engine is stuck , dont know much about fords thought the best way to try to unstick was use a crowbar on the flywheel, but do you need to take starter off to get to it, is there any other way to try to turn flywheel?Ive took sparkplugs out and put some stuff in to soak, any ideas will help. pulling and letting out on clutch is no option already tried.

Patience works better than crowbars.
If you've ever seen how frail the rods and pistons are in an N you wont want to go barring it hard.
Nor do you want to slip the ring gear on the flywheel. These engines will perform mighty wonders but they don't take ham handed maintenance well.

Only way I know of to get to the flywheel is to pull the starter.
The ring gear is a tight press fit, so theoretically it could turn on
the flywheel. I have not had that happen, just thinking out loud.

You could try a hand crank on the front of the engine also.
One for a Farmall Cub will actually work to turn them over.
I have also heard of using an air impact wrench on the front
to jar them loose.

As the others have said crowbar to the flywheel bad idea. You may need a new ring gear after that move.

You need to do a little troubleshooting and figure out why or what is exactly stock. Pull the head off for starters.

Was this a running tractor? Was it sitting for a long time? Did it just happened suddenly?

rick deere,Put some ATF down the cylinders 1/4 cup with a oil squirt can.Let it soak a couple of days. Then put yoyr transmission in 4th gear and rock back and fourth hard on the rear tires to break it loose. If it don't turn over repete and soak again 2 days.

Fill in the blanks. Has it sat a long time or has it gotten water in the cylinder etc??? If cylinder are dry fill with ATF and let sit a few days. Put the plugs back in to keep dirt etc out. Then set a 12 volt battery in and with the plugs out use short fast taps on the starter.

man said it ran a year ago same old song and dance. Im retired and believe me I know it cant stick that much in a short time.My guess has sit for at least 15yrs out side. but Ive never seen a ford stick because the exhaust is downward.

will do, been useing wd40 in the black and yellow spray can says it penetrates rust and cost 7 bucks a can, have used two cans so far.

Been down this road a few times .53 GMC about 31 years ago and a Lincoln welder w/ a 6 cyl Hurculees engine shortly after that. Do what these guys say. WD 40 is OK, but their are other items better. I never tried ATF. Bottom line it needs to soak after some detective work. May or may not have to take the head off, But you can if you want to build right to it go ahead. After you get it loosened up. Prime the OIl system by removing the flat plug on the front of the engine. I use one of those old grease suction guns from back in the day when we didn't have grease ( 80w-90) pumps.
Good Luck
