Looking for block- motor running or not

Where are you located? I have a complete long or short block for sale. New valves, springs, pistons, sleeves and reground, polished crank. I have had it for about 2 years. There is a small piece of the block casting broken off of the transmission mating surface. I have the piece, but it needs to be welded or brazed back on. I was going to use it as a replacement engine for my 52 8N when I restored it, but the engine I have is just fine. If I were going to use the engine I have for sale, I would make the repair to the casting before I installed it. I can send pictures if you need them. $550 and you pay all shipping expenses.

$550 is for the short block. I have a used head in great shape, a pan that needs to be cleaned up, front and side covers for an additional $200 + shipping.

This is an early block (9N serial) with a front mount camshaft and the forward oil fill connection. It will not work for a late 8N with the generator on the left side of the engine, as the oil fill is in the mounting location for the generator. I have uploaded one photo to the Parts and Pieces photo gallery under "Spare N engine" "For Ken Watt". I have several more photos I can send you if interested.
