8n-fuel boiling

after driving my 8n on a 99 degree day i took the gas cap off to check the fuel level.i noticed it was under alot of pressure so i looked in the tank.the gas looked like it was boiling.has anybody ever saw this?how can i fix it?would a vented gas cap fix it and where can i find one?

It's very common if you use gasoline with ethanol in it. I avoid gasoline with ethanol for this and other reasons but if is becoming more difficult.

The tank should not pressurize but, again, this is not uncommon as the tank vent easily clogs. Be certain to get a vented cap from your CNH dealer.

This was answered in your previous question but perhaps you forgot to check the "Email Notification" box that will tell you if anyone replies to your question. Be sure and do that so that you will know when people reply.
As Bruce told you there, the tank is supposed to be vented but sometimes the vent clogs up. That is why people buy vented gas caps. You can get one as various locations such as CHN and external_link. Gene

Never take the fuel cap off on a hot tractor.You can get a face full of gas.It dosent have to ignite to burn you.I got a free vented cap from a Ford dealer 23 years ago.Take the old cap and tractor serial number with you.
