Here is a picture of a 47 8N my son bought last month. Lift arms were stuck in the up position (exhaust control valve stuck), Lights aren"t hooked up after the repaint job. Put a carb kit in it and it runs pretty smooth. It came with a dearborn loader but was never put on this tractor. Also included is a 5" snowblower. He made a great purchase I think. I"m sure my 48 8N is jealous of the paint job.

Funks are cool. What size are those rear tires?

The rears are 13-28 Montgomery Ward with that crooked L pattern. Harder than hockey pucks. The fronts are brand new, still have the nipples on the face. The governor lopes at high speed, I'll try and adjust the linkage. It needs a pto seal. I'm looking to change the fields in the 6 volt gen and replace them with 12 volt ones. Supposed to be an easy swap so it looks genuine (no alternator which would be very difficult to mount).
