8n gas tank

my gas tank has a very small hole in it at the top center where the dome is- is this a vent hole or do i need to repair it

Leave it alone. It's the vent hole. Before you put the tank back on, blow air into it to make sure the vent is open.

Mike.......that is the vent hole that mudd daubbers like to close. It is NOT eazy to service iff"n clogged. Me? I advocate re-drilling "nutter vent hole just like that in-line with the battery cover so I can un-plug with long wire. Simple, eh? ........Dell, the ventilated
