8N - Head Bolt

I was removing the tube with plug wires from the motor. I removed a head bolt that was holding it. When I removed the bolt, there was a 2 inch gush of water that came out. Question - I presume that water could have gotten into the oil. It there anything else I should be worried about?

Were the sparkplugs out, and did the water go down the sparkplug holes?

Other than that I doubt you have any problems.

If it did turn the engine over without the sparkplugs in it, to blow the water out.

There is no oil that runs thru the flat-head Ford engine. Water only. When you reinstall the bolt, put a dab of Permatex #2 on it to insure sealing.
