Thanks to all of you who gave great advice regarding getting my newly rebuilt 8n running right. Well it turned out to be largely the old resister. With a new one in place it is running pretty darn good. Now for some tweaking of the carb and I'll be back to work!!

Good to here you have it running better. Always good to post what you did to make it run as it should because that in the long run can help others down the road
