Check it at the inspection cover, by your right heel if sitting in seat. Should have a dipstick. Another method is to remove the bottom bolt from the cover and fill til it just runs out.

You fill it on top of trans by start button. Trans, hydraulic, and rear end are all one common sump. Remove the cap and add any good UTF that meets Ford 134 spec. Original was 90W mineral oil.

Total capacity is 5 gal, but if it hasn't been cleaned in awhile, it'll only hold about 4.5 gal.

90wt gl1/2 oil.. or a modern gl4/5 oil that is yellow metal safe.

or a utf type oil meeting m2c134 spec.

now is a good time to clean the sump out and also drop the pump, pop the top. servic ethe lift piston/rings and cam pin, adjust up, and slap a new seal on that pto shaft / check the bearing.

check things like the relief valve, etc.. before ordering parts. then take care of all of it at once.

don't scrimp.. get new gaskets. no rtv.

1 day job for all that... and the lift will be good and crisp.
