8N Hood

I have a neighbor that is in need of a decent 8N Hood, looking for an original hood with script.

I can't find anything locally (Surry, VA), any ideas?

He can get a new one from this site, but they are not cheap.

I'd like to find an original hood also, it doesn't have to be in great shape, I am wanting to use it to make some patches for the ribbed area below the script. I should be able to cut a patch from any of the ribbed area of the hood. Greensboro area North Carolina.

I would love to find some pieces also!!!! If someone could manufacture these, they would make a mint!!! LOL

I agree! Patches would be a lot cheaper than a new hood. It would be a good Item!

On Facebook I have joined a few swap shops , automotive , and a few tractor sites that are local . Lots of parts for sell and a few wanted posts also . Check it out close before you buy anything as there are crooks there too . Biggest complaint locally is the seller agrees to meet you somewhere then never shows up , then blocks you from contacting them . If they won't give you a phone number you might reconsider your purchase as a won't show or stolen item . Save or print a copy to protect yourself . Tractor parts should be a safe deal .
