My 8N hood apparently was sprung, bent in a bit so that when I put the hood on, it really doesn't fit well. If I decide to get an after market hood, how much will it
detract from the value of the entire tractor. The lower side panels are new because the old ones were trashed so they are after market. Any ideas for mne?

Thanks

If it is normal everyday 8n it will have no difference in the value, might even help it a few dollars worth.

John's deal is a good one -go with it. I saw an 8N hood on fleabay for $400. John is in SE MI. Grand Blanc is not far from me. It's just south of Flint and I'm about 30 miles east of Flint. Sounds to me you can make it a roundtrip to get the hood and visit your daughter too...; > ) US23 takes you to John's and Grand Blanc...

I'm in Ypsilanti, straight down US 23 from Grand Blanc, about 3 miles south of I-94. We are out of town until late Monday. My e-mail is open so send me your e-mail address and I will take some pictures when I get home.
