8N Hydraulic failure

3 point lifted gannon then let it drop. Won't lift again. Has been working fine. Tractor shakes slightly while trying.
Removed implement stood on lift bars it will lift my 200lbs.
Any ideas????????

Well, it could be a lot of things, but it depends on what model of tractor we're talking about. 2N, 9n, 8N, NAA......if you tell us what it is, chances are you will get some good advice on fixing it.

The tractor is a 1949 8N i believe.

Bruce, I know I am bad about not remembering the title when I start typing a message, but the title is: 8N Hydraulic failure.

Mike, open the inspection plate and have a look and see if you can see oil dripping or spraying anywhere in there when you lift it with something on it.
