xactly, why I asked him how it was wired w/ 4-pole sw and how it is wired w/2-pole sw. With 4-pole he doesn't need diode/resistor/lamp (see my drawing), but with 2-pole, he does need one of the three. He just keeps all guessing & generating traffic for YT.
